Dave Brimlow - Bluesman Deluxe
Music and Web Design
Thanks for coming.
I am a Webmaster by trade and a guitarist/musician by heart. This site is intended to showcase and present both.
I started playing bass in 1968 (at age 13) and I've been playing guitar since 1972 (when I first heard Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore). I always had a heart for the blues but played in Rock bands for most of my career (including most of my work as a studio guitarist in NYC, as well).
I stopped playing professionally in 1983 (became a real estate executive to pay the bills). Then heard Stevie Ray in '89. I dusted off the old LesPaul (in the picture above) and started playing for fun again.
In 1998 I became the alternate guitarist for NJ's "Herd o' Blues" for a year or two. Lost my real estate company on 9/11, got a job as a webmaster, and in September 2003 bought Cakewalk Music Creator, Sound Forge 6.0 & Acid 4.0.
While I mostly play the blues, I also love playing Latin Rock/Acid (Rippingtons, Santana, Spira Gyro) and "Hard Rock" (G&R, Van Halen, Blk Sabbath).
I am game to collaborate online with anyone. Or just sit-in on a tune or two.
I owe a lot to my online family at The Acid Exchange Musicians and Artists Guild.
Peace, David Brimlow
